Soca Girls Rock!

The Caribbean is a kaleidoscope of people and cultures with a population totaling over forty-three million. Sprouting from this melting pot is a dynamic way of life influenced by the golden sun and beautiful sea. Considered to be paradise by visitors and locals alike, the Caribbean also has its own unique set of social and economic challenges. These include access to quality education and health care, high unemployment rates for youth and women, high poverty and crime rates, and income inequality.

SGR! is poised to address these social and economic issues through its unique and innovative approach to leadership, activism, and civic engagement. We harness the collective time, talent, and treasure of self-identified Caribbean women, living in and outside of the Region, to provide technical and financial assistance to non-governmental organizations (NGOs) committed to social change.

We encourage you to join our growing family as a volunteer or Caribbean-based partner. Let’s create strong Legacies as we come together and do little bits of good - for All Ah We, Todos Unidos, Wij Allemaal, and Nous Toutes.
