Menstrual Health Symptom questionnaire

Our research team co-designed Barbados’ first survey that will collect data on the prevalence and impact of menstrual disorders. Our team will also support with data analysis and reporting.

The Barbados Association of Endometriosis & P.C.O.S. received IRB approval for the Menstrual Health Symptom Questionnaire, June 6, 2019.

Exploring the illness experience of women in st. kitts & nevis with fibroids

Our research team will support with the development of a qualitative study aimed at understanding the experiences of women suffering from fibroids in St. Kitts and Nevis. This research project will utilize the Common-Sense Self-Regulation Explanatory Model which categorizes a patient’s perception of their illness into five core categories.

Legacy Fellows

Our research team leads a weekly youth leadership program designed to teach young women foundations in research methods, storytelling, and community organizing.. Two youth ambassadors are engaged in action-learning by examining the mental health issues of their peers. Their research will inform the mental health intervention supports offered by I AM A GIRL BARBADOS (IAAGBB) in the new school year.
