Jade Elias is a non-profit leader deeply passionate about youth and community engagement as a medium for social change. Currently, she serves as Division Director at University Settlement where leads youth and community programs. Previously Jade led programs at the Red Hook Initiative (RHI) as the Chief Program Officer, served as an Education Pioneers Fellow and also worked at the Philips Brooks House Association, Harvard College, where she evaluated and re-designed the program model for their teen-led leadership initiative. Originally from the Dominica Republic, Jade is also a Brooklyn native and serves on the Friends of WHEELS board. Jade holds a bachelor’s degree from Baruch College and a master’s degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
